What We Believe

We Believe

  • The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.
  • God, the Father has revealed Himself as the eternal, self-existent One. He is Creator, Sustainer and Judge of His universe.
  • Jesus Christ, is the Incarnate Word, the eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, Our only Savior and Redeemer.
  • Holy Spirit is the eternal, Third Person of the Godhead, send forth from Father and Son to endue Believers with power to be witnesses of Christ and His redemption to the whole world.
  • Mankind has fallen into sin through obedience to satan, the author of sin. Fallen man lives by the influence of his fallen nature and is separated from fellowship with God.
  • Man is totally unable to produce any works that would put him in right standing with God and is therefore, hopelessly lost without the intervention of Jesus, the Redeemer.
  • There is only one way of salvation and it is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus tasted death for all men on the cross of Calvary where His precious blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sin. He was raised victoriously from the dead and lives eternally that all who believe in Him shall inherit full redemption. Therefore, the believer should endeavor to live a holy and pure life as demonstrated by Christ Himself, so as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord.
  • This life is to be separated from sinful practices and associations of the fallen nature and be empowered by the Indwelling Holy Spirit to live as the new creation in Christ.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life and for unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all persons who are born again, which makes up the body of Christ. And that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.

What you might see during our services

We believe that people should have the liberty to express their adoration to God, so during times of praise and worship, you may see people raising their hands, waving their banners or dancing before the Lord. We expect the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit to be in operation in our services. That may include giving prophetic messages, tongues and interpretations, miracles and healings, the laying on of hands as stated in Mark 16:18 for healing. If you have any questions concerning any of these, please seek us out after the service, so we may try and help you understand.
